I am a full member of the Society of Professional Mackenzie Friends

For over 30 years I have worked to champion justice and fairness. Initially as a social worker and then for the last 20 years organising and managing businesses in social care, working with Local Authorities and the Courts to deliver specialist assessments, Targeted Family Support Services, Family Advocacy and Residential Childcare. All the time seeking to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients, young people and families.

My career journey, along with my recent legal studies, including my work with Law Centres and Family Legal Advice Clinics has reinforced my commitment to ensuing that everyone has a voice and everyone is entitled to support to have that voice heard.

Furthermore, my role as a facilitative civil and commercial mediator has only strengthened my belief that the ability to listen and support individuals in communicating effectively, to understand the systems they find themselves in, and to clearly articulate their thoughts is central to their own empowerment.
